The Scottish Solo fleet held their annual training weekend at Largo Bay Sailing Club over the coldest weekend of the year to date with blizzard conditions blowing from the north over the village and out to sea.
The weekend was supported by RYA Scotland, Wilburn Homes the new sponsors of this years circuit, and eleven hardy Soloists who turned up to be coached by Duncan Hepplewhite of Scottish Sailing, and Andy Davis of Speed Sails and National Champion.
The weekend had three on the water sessions and one technical session after the main blizzard had blown through on the Sunday.
All participants gained an immense amount of technical and on the water practice at an early stage of the season.
Thanks to the support boat team of Callum Gibb, Alastair Reid and Largo Bay Sailing Club, for their facilities.
The Wilburn Homes Scottish Solo circuit starts in two weeks time with the first meeting at Bardowie Loch on Saturday the 19 April.
